Facebook Cover Images Explained
Bringing Art Into the Mix: An Ongoing Curated Exhibition
If you’ve ever been on the Small Doggies Magazine & Press Facebook page, and found yourself wondering — Hey, who did that? Or, Where did that image come from? concerning our choice of Facebook cover images, well look no further. We’ve thought a lot about ways to bring both music and art into the cultural conversation that is the magazine, branching out beyond the literary and small press worlds to talk about more than just words and books. And the Facebook cover images are a part of that mission.
Culled from our past experience of art, as well as current artists and images that have caught our eye, we use the cover section of our Facebook profile page as an exhibition space, offering a new image just about every two weeks. Here, we will keep images documented and collected, along with the names of the artists, the titles of the works, and when possible, links to more information on that artist.
